Sports News: India Women defeated England Women in the fourth T20I and took an unassailable lead. The match was played at the iconic Old Trafford, in Manchester. The women in blue have also created history, as they are now the first team to beat England in a five-match T20I series. Before yesterday, the hosts had never lost a five-match series in the shortest format. However, Harmanpreet Kaur and Co. cracked the code and defeated England comprehensively. The England women opted to bat after winning the toss but could only manage a meager 126. In reply, the Indian batters safely guided their team to victory, taking a 3-1 lead.
Radha Yadav, the slow left-arm spinner for India, weaved her magic with the ball. She gave away just 15 runs in her quota of four overs, chipping away with two crucial wickets as well. She dismissed England's captain, Tammy Beaumont, and Paige Scholfield. Radha was well accompanied by her spin mates, Deepti Sharma and Shree Charani, who took 1 and 2 wickets, respectively. Radha was adjudged the player of the match for her impeccable figures of 2/15.
After restricting England to a mediocre total of 126, it was now the turn of India's batters to help the team win. India's openers Smriti Mandhana and Shafali Verma played a beautiful hand and added 56 runs in the first seven overs, laying a beautiful foundation for the batters to follow. The former scored 32 off 31, while the latter played aggressively, scoring 31 off just 19 balls. Skipper Kaur and Jemmimah Rodrigues made sure that the chase was always under India's control.

"I'm very happy with the way we all contributed. We had very good camps back home before coming here. We worked on our plans and executed accordingly," said Kaur in the post-match presentation.
